BSF, BDR discuss trans-border firing July 24, 2008 19:22 IST Unprovoked firing, trans-border crime, women and child trafficking and infiltration were discussed at the meeting which concluded on Thursday, inspector general of BSF (South Bengal Frontier) CV Murlidhar and deputy director general of Bangladesh Rifles Brigadier General MA Bari told a joint press conference. Murlidhar and Bari described the firing in which two BDR personnel were killed on July 17 and the death of a BSF man on Wednesday as isolated incidents. Murlidhar said the BSF had ordered a probe into the July 17 firing. The two sides exchanged lists of Indian and Bangladeshi criminals operating in each other's territories.
