Police officials said at least three persons were injured in the blast. Interior Ministry Chief Rehman Malick told media persons that the blasts were carried out using Improvised Explosive Devices. He said an inquiry has been ordered into the attack. The organisers of the World Performing Arts Festival being held at the Al-Hamra Arts council earlier said they had received an anonymous threat to stop the event. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani [Images] condemned the blasts.
