A multi-discipline team of doctors led by HoD of cardiology department Dr V K Behl was treating him.

"His blood pressure, pulse rate and respiration have been recovered. But he is still on ventilator," Dr Behl said.

62-year-old Dasmunsi was admitted to AIIMS on Monday with complete left ventricular failure of the heart.

Dasmunsi was treated for acute coronary syndrome in a private hospital in Kolkata in July and he had undergone a primary angioplasty.
