Sanaa Bhambri and Madhura Ranganathan provided India a flying start with a 3-0 win over Philippines in the Asia-Oceania zonal tie of the Junior Fed Cup tennis competition at Nakorn Ratchasima, Thailand, on Monday.

Madhura defeated Melissa Conchita Orteza 6-2, 6-4 in the first singles, while Sanaa was even more clinical in her 6-1, 6-2 rout of Morella Conchita Zoleta.

Madhura then combined with Sandhya Nagaraj to down Julie Em Botor and Melissa Conchita 6-2, 6-1 in the doubles.

The top three teams from the zone will qualify for the World Finals to be played in Barcelona in September this year.
