Leander Paes and his French partner Nathalie Dechy's run ended in the mixed doubles event of the Australian Open as they bowed out in the semi-finals.

The Indo-French duo lost to sixth seeds Daniel Nestor of Canada and Elena Likhovtseva of Russia 6-3, 4-6, 6-7 (4/10).
