Bindra books Olympics berth July 24, 2006 20:47 IST Ace marksman Abhinav Bindra won an Olympic berth as well as the gold medal in the men's 10 m air rifle event at World shooting championships in Zagreb, Croatia on Monday. Bindra, who shot 699.7 (597+102.7) to win the honours, will be competing in his third Olympics at Beijing in 2008. He becomes the fifth Indian after Gagan Narang, Anjali Bhagwat, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Manavjit Singh Sandhu. to book the quota place.
