Sania ousted from Bangkok Open October 10, 2006 17:01 IST Sania Mirza's disappointing run continued as she lost in straight sets to Meghann Shaughnessy of the United States in the first round of the Bangkok Open on Tuesday. The Indian, who slipped to world No. 61 on Monday, lost 4-6, 4-6 to the sixth seeded Shaughnessy. Rain had washed out all the main draw matches in the Tier III tournament on Monday. In another first round match, Sybille Bammer of Austria beat Australian veteran Nicole Pratt 6-1, 6-3.
