Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor captured a third Grand Slam doubles title together at the French Open on Saturday.

The Bahamas-Canada pairing overcame ninth seeded Czechs Lukas Dlouhy and Pavel Vizner 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.

After winning the US Open in 2004 and the Australian Open in 2002, only the Wimbledon title is missing from their collection.

"We're getting the best out of each other, we're playing great," said Nestor.

"Our whole career we've strived to win the French Open, Wimbledon, all the Grand Slams. We've got three out of four and there's no reason why we can't make it four out of four at Wimbledon. We're playing great."

The win, however, did throw up a problem as they are due to split after Wimbledon and have already made commitments to new partners. After their success in Paris, they are now unsure what the future holds.

"If I win a Grand Slam and stick to my regular partner, then that leaves the other person (new partner) stranded," said Nestor.

"It's obviously a very difficult situation when you make a commitment with someone else."
