Alok, Yasin in last 16 June 14, 2007 11:39 IST Second seed Alok Kumar of India overturned a 1-3 deficit to beat Pakistan's Mohd Yousuf 4-3 and enter the round of 16 in the 23rd Asian Snooker Championship in Karachi. In the clash of two former champions, Alok prevailed 61-62, 60-21, 0-97, 47-56, 111-7, 71-26, 82-13. Meanwhile, compatriot Yasin Merchant also advanced to the knock-out round despite a shocking 3-4 defeat against Bahrain's Habib Sabah in Wednesday's last session. Merchant was enjoying a commanding 3-0 when he lost the plot. Sabah was quick to cash in and won 45-69, 51-58, 49-59, 79-59, 74-27, 69-21, 76-49.
