Double misery for Sania at Stanford July 17, 2008 11:16 IST There was simply no end to Sania Mirza's [Images] misery in the WTA Bank of the West Classic tennis tournament as after her misadventure in the singles event, the Indian ace made a first round exit from doubles as well. Sania and her Russian partner Anna Chakvetadze [Images] were brushed aside by the unheralded Czech pair of Eva Hrdinova and Vladimira Uhlirova 6-3 6-4 in the Tier II event in Stanford. Sania had earlier crashed out of the singles event after a straight sets defeat at the hands of British qualifier Anne Keothavong. The world number 33 was beaten 6-7 (4), 1-6 by the 83rd-ranked Keothavong in her first round match on Tuesday.
