Market@December 19: Day's report

For the software stocks the day started on a weak note and the sentiment remained subdued throughout. Among the prominent losers were Satyam, Global Tele, Wipro, DSQ Soft and Himachal all were down by more than 3 per cent.

Among the pivotals Cement stocks shed their early gains after a strong opening and most of the stocks ended in the negative territory.
