Market@June 6: Day's report

It was Satyam's day again on the bourses, Satyam went up by the maximum possible limit of 12 per cent changing the sentiment for the software stocks. Most of the software stocks went in the second half of the day's trade. Non-software stocks witnessed dull trade barring the exception of BSES.

Trading volumes was good with HFCL, Satyam, Zee, Infosys and DSQ Software accounted for 50 per dent of the trading volumes.

Sensex up 60 points at 4592 points, Nifty up 17 points at 1422 points.

Gainers: Between 5 and 7.9 per cent
Punjab Tractors, Nocil, Zee Tele, BSES and Zuari Industries

Losers: Between 5 and 7.9 per cent
BPL and VST Industries

Losers: Between 7.9 to 12 per cent
Sterlite and Agrevo
