Market@28 March: Day's report

Software stocks opened weak and remained mixed even during the mid-session. Recovery came during the last one hour of trading with Wipro, Silverline, Global Tele and Pentamedia hitting the upper circuit.

Sensex was up 5 points at 5151. Nifty gains 10 points 1573.

Pivotals like Reliance, SBI, ACC and L&T saw strong buying and recorded handsome gains.

Satyam Computer, HFCL, Zee Tele, Global Tele, and Silverline topped the volume chart accounting more than 55 per cent of the total traded volume on the BSE.

Stocks up over 5 per cent
