Market@November 24: Day's report

The sentiment remained extremely mixed on Friday. Digital Equipment however managed to gain nearly 5 per cent. The stock attracted an all-time high volume of 37 lakh shares on the BSE. Wipro also gained more than 2 per cent.

In the non-software segment, L&T remained in demand and gained more than 4 per cent. Tisco also gained 4 per cent. Other stocks showed a narrow movement.

Sensex up 16 points at 3868 points, Nifty up 11 points at 1227.
