Douglas Neilson appointed Deutsche Bank India's chief

Germany's Deutsche Bank has appointed Douglas Neilson as its chief country officer for India, a statement from the bank said on Thursday.

The bank said Neilson will continue as director and head of corporate credit for India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand, a post he has held for four years.

Deutsche Bank started operations in India 21 years ago, has five branches in the country and employs more than 500 people in India, the statement said.
