I fear police will kill me: Shootout witness

Dr Hari Krishna, who claimed that the encounter in Ansal Plaza was stage-managed, said on Friday that he feared a threat to his life from the Delhi police.

"The police have branded me an antinational. I fear they will kill me," he said.

The police have launched an investigation to ascertain whether Krishna was present when the shootout, in which two men allegedly belonging to the Lashkar-e-Tayiba were killed, took place.

Everyone present at the site had spoken of firing from both the sides, a top police source said.

The police also doubt if he is a doctor. "Most of the degrees like DF-Hom (London), Afaz, MBBT-Hom and MRSH (London) appear to be fake, but we are inquiring," a source said.
