I had come from the US to shoot for Pazhassi Raja when I got a call from director Sathyan Anthikkad. I just loved the story of Bhagyadevatha. After doing a period film, this was an entirely different character.

What is your character in Bhagyadevatha all about?

My character is called Daisy who gets married to Benny, played by Jayaram. She is a soft-spoken girl but has to take some strong decisions at a certain point of her life.

Benny was eyeing for dowry when he agreed for marriage but things didn't happen the way he wanted and that leads to some tense moments in their life.
